Admissions
From a first phone call to moving-in day
Choosing a nursing home is a large decision, usually made at a hard moment. This is the path most families take with us — and you can start it with one call to 01653 692641.
Talk to us
Call or send an enquiry. Tell us about your relative, the care you think they need, and your timescale — urgent placements and planned moves are both familiar territory for the team.
Visit the home
Look around the rooms, gardens and day spaces, meet the manager, and stay for a cup of tea. Bring your relative if they are able and willing — it is their home first.
Care needs assessment
Before any placement is confirmed, the nursing team assesses your relative's care needs so the home can be certain it is the right setting — including any of the specialist categories it is registered for.
Moving in
We agree the details together and prepare the room before arrival. Residents are welcome to bring their own furniture to make the room theirs from day one.
Fees depend on assessed care needs — the team will talk you through them openly at the enquiry stage. Respite and convalescent stays follow the same assessment.
